[SN 121482] USED Fender / 1965-1966 Precision Bass Candy Apple Red [05]
1965-1966 Preve in excellent condition!
Neck date 5NOV65C Pot date is 6607 One of the necks was made in 1965 and shipped in 1966. The color is Candy Apple Red, which was a popular color in the mid-60s, and the layering situation can be seen from the exposed wood next to the pickup on the 4th string side, with a white undercoat layer, gold layer, and red layer. (Then again, what a big hand used it...)
There is no evidence of electrical replacement, and the solder has been kept as original. The pickups are gray bobbin with gold coil date, but there is no evidence of replacement.
Except for a few scratches on the surface of the body, there is little damage to the wood and the instrument is in beautiful condition. There are no scratches on the back of the body from the buckle, but the lacquer surface suggests that the "BODY GUARD" was probably attached to the back of the body. The body back and surfaces have a cloudy shine.
The neck and frets are in good condition and playability is good.
You will not find a good one like this for a long time.
Please consider it.
Item Rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.
