This "throwback edition" goes back to the roots with a three-point joint with micro-tilt adjustment, a bullet truss rod that can be adjusted from the head side, and a mute-padded back-through-body bridge. The bridge is a faithful reproduction of the original StingRay's specifications.
It also features vintage-style humbucking pickups with long Alnico 5 magnets, wound with single poly-nylon wire, just like the originals. The preamp is a 2-band EQ, hand-wired circuit board, and mounted with a micropowered preamp using vintage-fidelity ceramic disc capacitors.
Available in black/white/vintage sunburst and finished with a gloss polyester topcoat, it is a vintage-spec instrument that exudes the tone and feel of the 1970s, but with modern playability and reliability.
