A used Fender Custom Shop Time Machine Series 1966 Stratocaster Deluxe Closet Classic 3-Color Sunburst made in 2022 is now in stock!
Based on the 1966 Stratocaster, 2-Piece Alder body with "Maple 5/4 QTR-Sawn (Quarter Sawn Maple)" neck with "Medium Tint Nitrocellulose Lacquer" coating. The fingerboard is made of "Round Lam A Lacquer".
Fingerboard is made of "Round Lam AAA Rosewood".
The frets are "Medium Jumbo (6150)" and the fretboard radius is "9.5 Radius".
The neck shape is "66 Strat Oval "C"", which gives the specification the atmosphere of the time.
Since 1966 was the year when the large head specification was adopted, a large head is also adopted on this model. The logo is a transition logo.
The body color is a chic "3-Color Sunburst".
Deluxe Closet Classic" has been applied to the body to reproduce the weather checks caused by aging.
The guitar is finished with a vintage-like atmosphere.
Three original "Hand-Wound Vintage 65 Strat" pickups are installed.
You can enjoy the powerful Strat sound of the Gray Bobbin era.
The center pickup has a "Reverse Wind/Reverse Pole" (RWRP) design, which provides a hum canceling effect when the half tone is selected.
The Strat Vintage Mod Wiring 2 control allows for a tone effect on the bridge pickup with Tone 2, and the Vol control is equipped with a bleed circuit to maintain mid and high frequencies even when the volume is turned down, allowing for fine-tuned sound making with the controls at hand. The condition is as follows.
The body has some paint chips near the joint plate and at the edge of the body, and the top of the body seems to have been repainted.
There are some parts that have a sense of use, but there are no problems with the playing condition.
This is a Custom Shop model with improved playability while reproducing the look and feel of the '66 model!
