[SN V131291] USED Fender USA / American Vintage '62 Jaguar 3-Color Sunburst [12]
It reproduces the specifications from when it was released as Fender’s top-of-the-line model in 1962. Its unique sound, produced by features such as a short scale, a proprietary floating bridge, single-coil pickups with metal yokes, and special controls, was highly regarded by surf music guitarists in the 1960s and alternative/grunge guitarists in the 1990s. Even today, it remains one of Fender’s flagship models and is available in various grades.
The strap pins and bridge saddles have been replaced. There are numerous scratches and dents throughout the body, with paint peeling on the body sides and around the joint. There is stand burn near the headstock, and the metal parts show some tarnish.
The frets have been filed down and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
The tremolo arm is missing, and a non-original hard case is included.
