Featuring a classic all-solid Hawaiian koa body paired with a mahogany neck, it offers the bright, crisp tone characteristic of koa wood, along with a light, responsive sound. Despite its compact soprano size, it delivers substantial volume, sounding lively when strummed and producing well-defined notes when fingerpicked.
The soundhole features the brand’s iconic “Musubi” shape (reverse rice ball shape). This design serves not only as a visual icon but also contributes to the instrument’s excellent response.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
There is a slight forward bow in the neck, but it does not currently affect playability.
