This is a top-of-the-line Yamaha alto saxophone model from the time it was manufactured from the 1960s to the 1970s. It is a rare piece today, nearly 50 years after its production was completed. It is a well-made model like a domestic instrument equivalent to the current 62 series. Layer screws are missing, and there are scratches from use and rusting from areas where the lacquer has peeled off. There are some dents on the neck and U-tube that have been repaired.
