[SN 001208] USED YAMAHA / SC-1200 Stain (ST) Super Combination [3.66 kg / Manufactured in 1977] Yamaha Made in Japan [08]
This is the SC-1200 from Yamaha’s SC series, a high-end model featuring a through-neck construction, manufactured in 1997.
The SC series features three 3-position phase switches, offering a total of 13 pickup switching patterns. It features a maple/mahogany through-neck, a maple/mahogany/alder body wing, an ebony fingerboard, three bar-type single-coil pickups, three 3-way switches, and a die-cast bridge with a sustain block.
This is a high-end model common to all models in the series, offering a wide variety of sound variations, including half-tone and phase-out effects.
Signs of use are visible (including impact marks, scratches, scuffs, polishing marks, picking marks, buckle marks, dents on the back of the neck, paint unevenness at wood joints, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).
Setup was performed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, neck straightening, deburring, and nut slot correction).
