This model was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Custom Shop.
The Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock features a special 30th-anniversary design.
Alder body, maple neck, and slab-jointed rosewood fingerboard.
Equipped with hand-wired 60/63 Strat pickups.
This is a Stratocaster known for its warm tone.
The center pickup features reverse-wound, reverse-polarity coils, which cancel and reduce hum when in the split position.
The synchronized tremolo features press-in saddles.
There is a scratch near the 5th fret on the fingerboard, but it does not interfere with playing.
There is a gouged scratch on the back of the body that reaches the wood.
All side position markers have red paint stains.
The neck has a slight forward bow. With the action set at 2.1–1.8 mm, there is no muting or buzzing.
The truss rod has 60 degrees of adjustment remaining on both sides.
The remaining fret height is 1.3 mm (about 80% of original), so they may have been replaced.
