[SN 7 CE14984] USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / 1997 CE 24 Maple Top Orange Wide Thin Neck [03]

The "CE 24"—manufactured in 1997 at the Stevensville, Maryland factory, just like the Core models, and popular for its maple neck and bolt-on joint—has arrived!
Unlike current models, this one features a deeper arch on the top, giving it a look that rivals the Core model!

CE 24
Featuring a maple top, mahogany body, and rosewood fingerboard, the neck is crafted from satin-finished maple, offering a smooth texture and exceptional playability. Joined to the body via a bolt-on joint, it is characterized by a crisp, sparkling sound with a solid core—distinct from the Custom Series.

Neck Shape
The neck shape is "Wide Thin." With its wide, thin profile, it offers a grip ideal for fast playing and lead work.

Pickups
The guitar is equipped with the classic "HFS" and "Vintage Bass" pickups. HFS, which stands for "Hot, Fat, Screams," is an evolution of the original Standard Treble pickup. The HFS is a powerful pickup that balances attack, clear highs, strong mids, and powerful lows. The Vintage Bass pickup is characterized by a warm high-mid sound that is ideal for rock and jazz.

PRS has long been loved by guitarists across various genres. You’re sure to experience maximum performance in a wide range of settings, including live shows, sessions, and recording.

Condition
There is some clouding of the finish, minor paint chips and dents, and some discoloration on the hardware, showing signs of use commensurate with its age. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playability-related components are in excellent condition.
Additionally, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full setup and fret leveling, so you can use it with confidence.

Originally equipped with a 5-way rotary switch, it has been modified to a 3-way toggle switch, and two pots and the strap pin have also been replaced.
