The Smoggy Overdrive by Y.O.S. Guitar Studio, a new up-and-coming domestic handmade effects pedal.
The Smoggy Overdrive is an original overdrive handmade by Y.O.S. Guitar Studio that reproduces the traditional tube drive sound in any environment. It adds attractive harmonics and a tight low end to the sound while maximizing the guitar's character.
Despite its simple operation, a wide range of sounds can be created with a single unit, from fat clean boosts, to small crunchy sounds, to dynamic drive sounds.
All of the individual controls are focused within a practical range, creating a nimble sound that will never get buried in a band ensemble.
The eye-catching Smoggy Overdrive chassis and knobs are also original designs by Y.O.S. Guitar Workshop.
Both the chassis and knobs are machined from a block of A5056 aluminum. The high-density chassis and well-calculated grounding lines also realize an astonishingly low-noise design.
Because it is completely handmade, this is a rare model that is not produced in large numbers.
