The FG/FS Red Label series retains the mid-bass appeal of the original FG from the 1960s, while the carefully selected Sitka spruce wood has been treated with A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) processing and specially developed scalloped bracing to create a deep, powerful sound born from the bass and rich overtones. The specially developed scalloped bracing produces a powerful sound with deep bass and rich overtones.
The body of this new model has a new gloss finish, giving it a more luxurious appearance and a sparkling sound. The pickup-equipped model features the Atmosfeel 3-way PU system, which has been highly acclaimed for its natural acoustic sound, and delivers excellent performance on stage as well.
